Saturday 8th February 2020, 11.00am - 2.00pm, at the Bristol and Bath Craft Workshop, Kingswood Estate, Britannia Road, Kingswood, Bristol, BS15 8DB
Portberry Crafts' classes are all about giving you the time, space and materials to be the most creative person you can be.
This month we will be making a collage with printed cotton to create a patchwork effect. The finished piece is 32cm or 13 inches in height.
February's Class is a good introduction to Translucent Powertex both as a fabric hardener and a universal medium as you will be using a wide range of cottons from recycled sources.
We will provide all the materials to follow the class project exactly but you will also have lots of extras if you want go further and play. We will also be providing tea, coffee and cakes in the break so you have a chance to relax, chat with fellow crafters and browse our shop.
Everyone buying a ticket will be signed up for our loyalty scheme, where if you pay for 4 courses, you get a fifth free. Great if you want to come as a group.
Classes are aimed at adults. Over 10's can also buy a ticket and are welcome to attend when accompanied by a full paying adult.
Powertex is an non-toxic, environmentally friendly, water based medium which can be used on indoor projects as well as becoming weatherproof, when fully dried (approximately 3 weeks).
